New places, new songs. 09/27/2008
I tend to let folks come and find me if they want me to play a gig these days and that usually gives me just the right number of shows. Unusually I have had 3 in a single weekend and I decided this would be a good time to start playing some of the new songs I have written this year. Last night I played at Glendalough hosted by Lilly25 Connoly and Rudolf Moo and we had a great crowd who stayed for a little extra time after the show too when I played two new songs; "Suffer" and "Smile". I have visited the RL Glendalough. It is the site of a deserted ancient monastry south of Dublin in the county of Wicklow. During the show I joked about whether there were monks in the SL Glendalough and if so they were probably brewing Potcheen. CommentsLeave a Reply |
